Guage Lighting
The stock bulbs .....errrr , not really . You could if you knew how to solder and work on circuit boards . The cobalt cluster uses 2 tiny little LED looking incandesnt bulbs in each guage mounted in the center . After seeing how small they are , I cant believe the even light up the cluster as well as they do .
Good news , there is a complete a$$load of room to use LED's as backlighting , if ur skilled enuff .

Yeah , it woulda been pretty hard to project the light right mounting them in the center like that . Good thing the about the entire rest of the gauge are is open underneath the gauge faces .
Its the same type of bulb . LED appearing incandesnt . As long as you can solder and use the correct resistors LED's could be used there too . For the AC controls so they light uniformly , and when I get around to doing it (lol) ,,,,Im gonna just run a circular string around , behind each knob so all the markings light up correctly . Seeing as how there is probably on a couple centrally mounted incandesents that shine thru a clear light diverter to guide the light . Most GM Hvac controls are that way .
Same deal with the all the lighted switches too , like power windows ect ect . If you can get the switch apart without wrecking it , the same as above applies .

be careful i dont think your warranty covers you if you light your on car on fire.....and it any electrical problems happen down the line your screwed if they try to attach it to you putting new led's in. just a heads up. good luck!
