Alright well I'm in the market for Halo projectors with HID lights. I've been looking around the net for some deals and I've noticed some of the Projectors have Xenon lights pre-installed into them which is good I guess. So I just have a few questions becuase I'm a noob when it comes to lights.

1) Is it better to just buy the projectors or just to get the HID's?
2) If i get projectors without HID I heard it's not that bright (which sucks)..is it true?
3) If I do get the projectors/HID/BOTH, does the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) have to be disabled?

1. If your getting HID's get some sort of projectors.
2. Compared to HID's the halogen bulbs are very dull. You'll be thankfull you got the HID's.
3. The DLR for the Gen 1 housings are the indicator bulbs like the OEM housings. For the Gen 2 its the halos and indicators. Not sure about the Gen 3. If you dont want it, you can always pull the DLR fuse.
