Headlight gens?

Headlight gens?

ok so i hear about "gen 1" or "gen 2" or gen whatever headlights all the time. im not an idiot but ive never come across anything explaining what this means. anyone care to fill me in?

Modern Performance sells a couple different ones. They sell Gen1,2 and 4. If you want halos their Gen2 looks nice. You can also check out ebay there are very many to choose from.

ok thanks.............since the aftermarket headlights use HID's will i need to add ballasts and all that or no?? sorry im a complete noob with headlight.....the mechanical part i got, not so much headlights lol

you can run both HIDs and halogens in the aftermarket projectors

if you want to run HIDs you are going to need an HID kit with bulbs and ballast

i like this style i believe they come with H1 bulbs so i will need to buy the headlights and HID kit correct?

yes if you want HID
it takes H1 for both hi & low

H1 HID Kit

you will need 2 complete kits if you want HID for both hi & low

i mean i know your not, you know what youre talking about i know that much but **** i didnt think it would be anywhere near that. like 100 bucks tops. ya looks like im just sticking with my stocks

The kits are $79.99 a piece and most people just put HIDs in there low beams and leave halogens in the Highs

you might also want to look into Retros Retrofit Headlights
