Headlight removal

Okay, I feel really stupid for asking this, but is there a trick for removing the headlights? I am having a very hard time removing them and I don't want to break something.

Search about it using the search button because I know this has been discussed before.

But since I'm nice
1) Take out 2 bolts in tabs on top of headlight
2)Wiggle and jiggle and pull out the outer edge
3)Headlight will pop out

I did search, the only post about this was something asking if it is hard to take it out, nobody discussed exactly how to without breaking anything. Thanks though. My Right one is nearly impossible to force out though.

if you remove those little black push pins for the front grill and things for the side your removing, you can pry back gently on the front fascia and it makes it a 100 times easier to remove the head light.

Yeah search is hard sometimes when you want to bring up specifics. It is easier if you can see the headlight already out. Like if you have something new you are going to put in. They have two little clips at the bottom. They aren't really clips, but they slide in to hold them down below. Once the top bolts are out there is still pressure because of them and also because of the molding. You have to move the bottom forward to pull out where the clips catch. You also have to put some pressure on the body when you wiggle them. Just have to be careful not the hurt it in the process. It does take some force the first time out.

Right!!! This makes it a lot easier. I also found running your fingers along the seem of the light and the fender help pop it out. Wait till you put it back in and try to get it line up. lol!

when i put halogens in i just looked in the manual, there's a pretty good explanation of how to do it in there. it does require a little force so don't be afraid of using a lil elbow grease
