help painting rims...fast please

sorry admin. i didnt know if this should go under wheels/tires or appearace ??

hey guys and gals i just bought 4 american racing rims (16') off my friend for 10 bucks...THATS RIGHT! he sold them to me for ten bucks because he put new 18's on his lexus and these rims were on the car when he bought it, so he didnt really lose any money. theyre REALLY scratched up though , but i knew that when i went to buy them. also, i did search the forum and i did find a "how to" on painting rims, but it wasnt for really torn up rims like these. my question is, what is the best way to prep the wheels for painting them. (again, theyre real fucked up with scratches) i wanna make them flat black or gloss black, havent decided yet....so please guys, help me out. i wanna get them prepped and start painting tomorrow. please give me a list of what supplys i should buy too. i cant get tires put on them until spring or next summer though because im going to school in 3 days and i need to save my money.

also, my camera is broken, so no pics

thanks, and again, please help me out

Okay this is easy. Sand the wheels. Grab some filler. You can use body filler, the red stuff in a tube. Sand it down, then primer. Paint, re paint, repaint. Clearcoat, clearcoat, clearcoat.

What more do you need? For $10 sand them down and paint them up. if they come out like poopie, you can resand and repaint.
