why would you not weld in a piece of metal to fill the hole? then no worries about the bondo "plug" falling out.

This is going to look horrible in daylight. But I can stand it better than the other so it gives me time to save for a new deck lid.

hey, its all good, take it as a learning experience.

I was going to dip the entire trunk and just say screw it but matte black with the rest being gloss would look terrible haha.

The first pic looks ok... The second looks like you took an angle grinder to it?

Did you forget to use water when wet sanding?

it would not look bad. sand them ridges down and dip the trunk for now atleast..

lol yikes! well at least its just a trunk... I prob would have just put the spoiler back on..cover 99% of the scratches and try to buff the remainder as best as possible

Trust me. I've HEAVILY thought about it -.- But I'm learning to ignore it. And most the scratches are out now. Been polishing and buffing for the last 2 days.

Im sorry but this is one of the funniest things I've seen today lol. Should just leave it to the pros or do alot more research and get some practice. But having a cobalt the easiest thing to do is get a base model trunk
