Nightshades does look good. I like the LEDs though. Only downfall with nightshades is no LEDs and if it's not sprayed right it can look ghetto. I have seen lights done nicely with it though. It can be done.

yeah the LEDs are tight n all but i couldn't justify paying for them instead of the sway bar and lowering springs so i decided to nightshade them myself. i did figure out one key technique for the nightshades though. i sprayed them twice. the first time after they dried they didn't look glossy at all and i figured it was because i was holding the can too far away and was just getting overspray so i had to strip the tint off and do it again but the second time i held the can like 5 or 6" away and they look a ton better.

Yes, do it Cinci.

That is good info Fresh. So 5-6" away when spraying nightshades is the trick.
That should help a bunch of people.

trick or not who knows. all i know is that the first time i did it i held the can like a foot away and it didn't turn out well at all.

They are smoked, yes, and you can easily do that with Niteshades. BUT, they are also LED taillights as well. Hope no one mistakes these for just smoked taillights!

I think people don't realize these are actually aftermarket housings. Smoking the stock lights yourself is great, but these are a different design light. I think the reverse lights look much nicer than stock and those alone are worth it. You can also buy those tails without LEDs for around $90-$100 on ebay. Otherwise, they look really good CT, goes well with the color scheme.

Yea I have seen similar ones on ebay, but they didn't have the LEDS. I think I am going to have to get these ones. It helps when people post pics with them on their cars

I would but as you can see my camera doesn't take pictures of lights all that well. I'll see if I can get borrow a real camera.

P.S. Thanks for the compliments guys.

And yes the shipping is very fast. These guys at Modern have been awsome to me.
