Go to amazon and get 3mm 12 volt LEDs in whatever color. You'll need 9 I think

yeah I did mine.. it was easy, just dive in and you'll see its no big deal.

I just ordered 300 5MM LEDS ($2/free ship) I used some odd blue ones that came in the back for the gas gauge, and came with free resistors, I soldered the resistors on the soldered the LEDS to the board.

except I went a bit nuts and added like 50 LEDS .. but yes it is dimmable

Yes you'll just need to trim the wire because each positive and neg comes with like 3 inches of wire, trim just before the risistor on positive, you'll see a bump in the rubber

Well taking it apart is simple, just keep track of order of thinks and install in reverse order. once you

get it all taken apart there are nine bulbs, you take some needle nose and just bend and twist and they

will break off. Then you solder one Led on and take it out, plug it in. If it doesnt come on its

backwords. Then you know if positive goes on top or not. And on the LED the positive wire has a

resistor right by the bulb, cut the wire after that. To take the needles off you just twist counter

clockwise and pull up. It will take some playing around to get them set back right.

yeah I bought the LEDS w/free resistor because it was dirt cheap for a **** load of lights and I'm pro (lulz) at soldering so popping some resistors in there was no big deal at all

and I know the idea of taking a cluster apart is may seem daunting, but you really do have to just dive in, and if you're THAT worried, start with the HVAC, its super simple to pull apart and the bulbs are really easy to get at and work with.
