LED highbeams and foglights?

Does anyone have LED high beams? I have 8000k HID's in my projector headlights for low beams, but the high beams are the stock halogen. I want to just get an led instead of paying 150-200 for a full HID kit. Also I dont really need it much brighter than stock( a bit is good, but for highbeams HID's are overkill. I'd just like to get away from the halogen oem's and their yellow tint, a bit brighter with either pure white or a slight blue tint would be just what I'm looking for. So does anyone have these in their car? I'd love to see pics. I know some people have got the low beams, pics of those wouldnt be bad either, thanks.

the blue tint color your looking for is 6000k

only way your going get that is with HIDs or siverstar bulbs (the ones with the fake xenon look) they are bright whiteish blue I had them on my old car but will only look better wont be that much brighter but if you are just going for color go with sliverstar bulbs. You wont get extractly same color with sliverastar but close .

I know what HID's look like, like I said I have a set for my low beams allready, lol. Thanks for posting pics anyway though, but my main point was to get pictures with led's. I dont need the ultra-bright light that comes with HID's( 2.5-3x the output?) for highbeams. For led's I'm look for either the same color as 6000k hid's or slightly more blue, that or just a pure white. The same light as stock would do, but maybe 1.5x the light output or a bit less than that would be the goal.

LEDs are good for basically any type of light except headlights. They are not nearly bright enough to be a reliable source of light. Maybe in ma few years they might be feasible, but right now I don't think it's worth the trouble. I would just buy a good set of halogens for use as high beams.

are there halogens that givge off PURE white without that slight off-yellow tint that every one I've ever seen has? lol, or one in a color similar to 6000k hid's? If led's arent bright enough for headlights, would they atleast be bright enough for foglights?

Foglights perhaps, I just wouldn't trust any LEDs right now as headlights. There are halogen lights produced to give off the bluish-white look, many brands and many shades are out there. I use SilverStars in my headlights and I like their light output, some people don't but it's good enough for me at the moment.

i don't think leds would be good for fogs either. though led's are very bright, they are not good at projecting light more than a couple feet ahead. i have sylvania silverstars in my highs. they are a pretty white light but when you have them on with the hids you can definitely see the yellow tint, but its gonna be hard to find halogens that are as white as hids.

Theres not really other types of headlight bulbs other than hid's and halogens really are there? This might be a bit of a dumb question but its 4:30am here and I'm kinda tired, lol.

That's basically it, really. I would probably just go to crappy tire or walmart and check out the light bulb selection and pick something that would work for you. Failing that you could try places that specialize in automotive accessories to see if they carry anything you'd like.
