I bought an LED bulb to replace the stock halogen for the license plate. It looked good when test fitting into the plug, and gave the car an updated look. So when I tried to inset the bulb into the clear socket and lock it in place, the bulb was too long to allow the socket to lock.

So here is the LED I bought, now I have a LED that is useless to me.

Does anyone know where I can find a LED that is relatively close to the stock 194 bulb and will fit into the the lens socket? One that gives 360 degrees of lighting, and isn't a cheaply made Chiwanese POS ?


Also, does anyone have the backup lights from superbright LEDs? I'd like to know which ones will fit before ordering, and not make the same mistake

 

I bought 10 194 led bulbs from eBay for $9. I put one in my license plate

194 fits in the license plate, trunk, map lights, and reverse lights.

 

I ordered this pack and replaced my side markers, map lights and license plate light. On both my car and my friends haha

Sweet. How bright are the ones from amazon? Are they a pure white, or do they have the bluish tint? Any problems with them burning out?

 

I bought my LED from Walmart. Pure white with no blue tint. I think it was $10. I had originally bought 10 LEDs from eBay for like $5, all of them blew in roughly 3 months. The one I got from Walmart has lasted 6 months and still going strong.

I bought the same style LEDs off SuperBrightLEDs.com for both the two mirror lights and the license plate light and they all fit fine.
