My HID's quit working WTF

dont know if this is the right section but here it goes

Well today I played around a little with my lights I pulled them both out set them on my bench and was messing around with the lens on one. Mean time I start the car up and back it on the ramps so I can see if I had the right quick disconnect for a friend then I put my lights back in and start my car up I have parking lights, turn signals, and high beams but the low beams are not working. Anyone have any ideas what going on? Did I screw it up by starting the car with no headlights hooked up? Or do I just need to get new HID's? I hooked the HIDs up just like I disconnected them so i have no idea whats wrong with them, neither one works even if I switch sides on them.

any ideas or suggestions?

well...it clearly states in the directions to avoid touching the HID bulbs at all, as the oils from your skin can screw em up. did you touch the bulbs?

were they plug and play? or did you have to maneuver some wires around? maybe you mixed up some wires? maybe a wire is disconnected. Check your ballast.

check the wire harness. It could be bad and you might have to replace it. One guy suggested getting rid of the harness altogether and soldering the wires directly.

you could of pluged the plug that goes on the the ballast the wrong way. it will go on ither way but will only work one way, because one prong in the clip is positive and one is naegitive take the plug that goes on the ballast out and pulg them in the other way once? make sure its the one that clips on the ballast see if that works if not check the low beam fuses in the fuse box on your car.

Wow thanks for all the ideas and sorry it was the wrong forum, I will try theses ideas today but I swear I hooked them up exactly as i took them off. I really don't want to solder them directly becasue I plan on switihng to 6k hids for my lows and possibly using theses assuming I can get them to in my highs.

Check your fuse. I had the same problem which was caused by a melted fuse.

You might be running low on blinker fluid.
