Needing some advice with front bumper
So I finally got my hands on an ss front bumper and lip. Now just trying to figure out what I'm going to do about he bowtie.. I've seen how I can put the Pontiac grill and emble on the ss front bumper but honestly I don't love that look. I've thought about dremeling off the top and bottom of the bowtie but just not sure if it would look like its missing something.. Any advice, pics?
Here's what m bumper looks like now

And here's what's waiting togo to the body shop. :P

or just leave the chevy badge off and dremel off the bottom part of the crossbar where the chevy badge was. Then fill in the holes. might look cleaner and easier though if u just put a pontiac badge or another badge over that area instead though
Yeah I say if you don't want the bowtie cut out the bar and get an aftermarket grill like that mesh stuff they sell you can cut down and bend and use it for a grill. They make a black plastic honeycomb mesh you can buy and cut to desired length and width forwhateve allocation you want. Its on ebay but I'm sure you can find it elsewhere.
Or having it stolen lol. My old emblem got stolen right off the car. I had only used the strong ass 3m tape though lol.
So you dont want the g5 grille on the ss bumper? Why not put the pontiac emblem on where the chevy bowtie would be? Pm me if you gonna get rid of your g5 grille im interested in buying it

Well dropped off the bumper and lip today... He's thinking $700ish for painting/fixing/and the bowtie deal. :P and he's actually gonna try to heat up the top and bottom of the bowtie and fold it backwards so it doesn't look like the edges are missing in the middle..
