Quick question..

I drove a late-90's Corolla S at work yesterday. No big deal. However, I noticed something.. The steering wheel was very nice. It was the same 3 spoke wheel they have used on the Corolla since then, as well as other models, but this one was all black with red stitching.. It would really go well with my red stitching on the shift boot and e-brake boot I have in the car.. Then you'd obviously just cover the Toyota emblem in the middle.. Kinda similar to the 07+ 3 spoke wheel.. This wheel also has the cruise attachment, so I don't know if my factory cruise could be wired into it.. I have an aftermarket radio, so I don't use my radio buttons anyway..

No clue if this'll work, but figured someone may know..

give it a shot, bring it to a shop and see if the splines match up, and if they do, try having the CC wired in.

 

Or you could buy a steering wheel cover, the ones you wrap yourself.

 

Restitch your steering wheel maybe? Just a suggestion. Like if your unable to use the corrola wheel, maybe you can try that route.

It's not that it's a life or death situation if I can't do this steering wheel, I was just seeing if anyone knew off hand if most steering wheels are universal.. Because I have no clue.. But if I could, I know it'd look sweet.. Surely different.. We'll see how it goes..
