Not rice but a fading trend. It's on its last legs before it becomes old.

Thank you. Mine are 4 stripes at 4'' x 15'' You trim a little off at the bottom and top but the 15'' gives you some lee-way to adjust it to your own liking. Since those pics I have added a CF shaved wingless trunk and I will be pruchasing a CF hood and CF roof this spring. I will then replace the orange stripes with CF stripes that match the hood in pattern, if I can't get it done to my liking then I may just do black stripes. Wheels will also be getting powdercoated black or white with an orange lip this year.

Almost bought some a long time ago, but didn't want anyone to give me **** over it. I think they look pretty good.
I put the Buick's "turbo V6" logo on my frontend of my old Buick and kept getting the "Jiffy Lube logo." I don't want to get the "your Cobalt is not a Corvette Grand Sport."

Yeah well not everyone will agree with every mod, so who cares? I think, applied right, they can look pretty good.
Honestly, the only example i've seen that actually look done right is this one.
He's a member here, name escapes me. Its clean as ****

I'm not hating on anyone's taste here, but I have always been curious....people know these belong on Vettes, right? Some of them look good, I'm not saying that, but it is a Corvette tradition. I have stripes that aren't everyones taste either, so I'm definately not criticising, just wonder if people know the history of these fender stripes.
Do you mean the Grand National double arrow Turbo logo? I always associate this with Direct Connection.

No, not really because I'm not criticizing them, I want to know if people put them on because they like the look or because of the tradition of them being on Corvettes, being a Chevy sports car.
