didnt even have the headlights for an hour before they were in pieces. already got the projectors mounted in the reflectors and prepping to paint everything. cant believe how easy its going thus far. going to black the reflector and chrome, except for the turn signal reflector area, thats staying put. just dont know if i want to leave the shroud chrome or black it out.

ill have pics once i get some paint on.

ready to go into the car for alignment before final assembly. they are nothing real crazy, just a simple blacked out headlight. im more concerned about performance of them than looks.

I'm certain the answer is no but does anyone have a trick to keep the headlights from turning on when I unlock the car with the remote? Not including using the key lol

There's a setting in your DIC settings. Your manual should say how to access these settings. Or you can go to https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/gene...tup-menu-2562/. There is a setting for the headlights. No need for them to come on high beam when I unlock my car.

Oh awesome! Thanks I figured that was one of the features you just can't disable. At least not without a relay or capacitor

I was able to tap into the DRL fuse slot with a relay and run that to my LED halos. Now they work just like DRLs.

Mine doesn't use the headlights as the drl. I was only concerned with slowly killing the bulbs every time I unlock the car

anyone had issues with the morimoto relay harness? i switched the pins around to match 9007 wiring as everything i read said they are pinned for 9004 bulbs. my issue is no high beams. the lights stay on when i hit the high beams however the shudders dont move. shudders work when manually tested, i have high beam input from the car, but no output from the relay box/module. and my high beam indicator is functioning correctly.

seems like a bad module. im going to double check my wiring but im 99% sure ive got it correct.

Ive had a few harnesses go out on me unfortunately. If the nipple on the plug from the projecto is facing up at you, what sides are the wires (black and red)?

Mine are [black'red]

the shudder wiring on mine is white and brown, and i put it together as per the instructions on trs's site.

i think i might have had the wiring pinned wrong on the input side. i found some other info and pinned it to that, ill give it a try tomorrow.

Well here they are. Matchbox MH1s for the outers, D2S projectors with the led panamara shrouds for the inners.
All on at the time time highs or lows.
Outers have switchback halos and switchback led strips around the signal area.

They kicked my ass with trimming work and fitment and wiring but i think they turned out pretty awesome and its always great when everything works perfect first try.

And even though it has no signal bulbs... I think they have more than enough signal. **** the halos could he used to SOS
