CannonBalt 10-17-2012 02:27 PM

Polished. Hard wheels to find.

DSmastery 10-17-2012 02:31 PM

front lip is required or some tint

polish looks fine

2009CobaltLT 10-17-2012 02:33 PM

I thought this car looked familiar...

keep em polished, imo looks cleaner

Dirtbke14 10-17-2012 02:48 PM

does anyone know how i could fix curb rash two of my rims have really bad curb rash and i think im going to leave them polished

BPacak 10-17-2012 02:59 PM

step one lower that bitch haha.

if your going to leave them polished idk how you would really fix them, i used a dremel to get rid of mine before i repainted them.

matt638 10-17-2012 03:02 PM

I think polished looks cleaner, but the black wheels make sense with your hood and evo mod

Dirtbke14 10-17-2012 03:02 PM

i will probally leave them how they are i might just clean them up a little and polish them

yep. the dip was the "gunmetal" dip with glossifier over it. it would change colors depending on the light lol.

oh and the inside edge of the spokes are dipped black.

BoostedBeaner 10-17-2012 03:21 PM

Both of you! Put the center caps back on!! :)

chevygirl2006 10-17-2012 03:24 PM

Twooz has center caps. They are painted black because they are messed up.

Twoozofjuice 10-17-2012 03:25 PM

they turned out nice i might do mine like that and im missing two center caps so it would look stupid with two in and two missing

BoostedBeaner 10-17-2012 03:27 PM

Awww ok :(

Twoozofjuice 10-17-2012 03:30 PM

my cousin has some center caps that are badass....its the bowtie but they arent painted gold they are just like chrome or whatever and the bowtie pops out. looks sweet. too bad they are too big our cars lol

yeah i like how they came out. and that was just me and a friend hanging out and doing all the sanding/polishing ourselves. wasnt a professional job

0h and you get to polish the whole wheel instead of just the face of the spoke. i think it looks better all polished imo

chevygirl2006 10-17-2012 03:30 PM

I want to get the inside part polished. It's too dull

Dirtbke14 10-17-2012 03:31 PM

what grit sand paper did you use and did you do it by hand or with a rotatory sander and when you polished it did you do that by hand or machine

chevygirl2006 10-17-2012 03:32 PM

You should paint your rims white. White on white is great

Twoozofjuice 10-17-2012 03:36 PM

used 80 to get deep into the scratches then like 220 or something and 400 and like 600 i think. i cant remember. the wheels arent perfect because we were tired as shit. we sanded for 2 days straight basically. we sanded by hand.

get that polished it looks badass..i love how mine looks lol
