2007 CHEVROLET COBALT Front Brake Rotors - Slotted es.62078

And the install kits for the front and backs for $275 shipped. And I was quoted $100 bucks to install them at a local shop. Can't beat that.

I wasn't able to find the front pads to match the rear pads. Its a 2008 2.4L Sport (NOT SS/SC/TC)

to my knowledge 2.4 SS/Sports use SS/SC brakes.

Hammbones 03-10-2011 12:41 AM

I'm pretty sure they do too but I'm in the process of a budget and I need to include the exact prices for the stuff. I got all 4 drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads in the rear, but I need the matching brand / type in the front =(

Just ordered my stuff from them. I ended up paying 300 for it including the brake part kit. Waiting on them to get sent (Ordered Monday Mid-Day) so I doubt they will be here before Friday Night but if they are yay.

Progress looks awesome btw, the gold center with chrome or even red lip would look bamf!

RA040424 03-17-2011 06:48 PM

R1 Slotted rotors and ceramic pads installed along with my ricer red lug nuts :) And omg does my car feel like a freaking brand new car with awesome new breaks and tires! I can't freaking wait to get my SS/TC Seats in next week and really see what a nice car should drive like :P

redcobalt07 03-18-2011 11:01 AM

I sold it before I got the cobalt in like the summer of 2008. I was about to start going to College, which was an hour away in St.louis, Monday-Friday and the gas mileage in the mustang was atrocious  ........ sooooo I got the Balt.

Garret 03-18-2011 11:07 AM

Wheels look great, rotors compliment them well

RA040424 03-18-2011 11:07 AM

Sooner or later I will be behind the wheel of another Mustang. Just after the Cobalt is payed off and I'm settled into my own place.

I had an issue with my brake lines last night on the rear of the car. You might want to check out your brass line on the rears to be sure the crush fitting didn't come loose in the install =)
