i have a '08 slate metallic sedan ls.

heres what mine looks like:

my first mod was an ark shorty antenna:

i purchased 4 lug rims from a friend here locally; personally i like the stock look best, and not the steelies.
before:

after:

i had and amp and sub installed in it, along with alarm and power door locks. its basically an amp hooked to factory radio, with factory amp housing wired to back of the balt. (sorry no pics yet, just PM if you wana see tho).

i just purchased a full body kit with front/back bumpers, plus side skirts. im hoping it will look like this when i get done:

lol, us slate metallics are out there, just not enough to make a huge impression on the market.

nice car. i saw a red sedan once with a high rise spoiler. it looked bitchin. i kinda like how we have a unique color. as it is, there arent that many cobalts, let alone with our color

im not sure if a high rise flows with the body lines of the sedan tho. i havent seen one up close so i cant really make a true decision on whether i like it or not.

yea theres no doubt our color is unique, you should make a post up on our official color page Official Slate Metallic Thread just to see how many more there might be out there.

what do you mean the vent is facing the wrong way? the front is a ram air that feeds into my air intake. the rear 2 are vents for heat to escape. it works like a cowl. the air moving over the hood pulls the hot air out of the rear vents

There is already a thread for this...

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=106951

Please just post over there. No need for multiple threads for the same color.

thats fine, but you would have sloppy seconds, as i already have...j/k

as for where i bought it, i'd hate to give my secrets away and loose my uniqueness, but you can find it by google-ing "suncoast ram air hoods". i believe the site is "suncoastramair.com" but i may be wrong. they make 2 models of it. they look the same, but the underneath part is different. one is for the 2.2/2.4L where the air box is on the passenger side, the other model has the functional ram air open to the driver side for the super charged models
