The 3rd gen. is the only style I actually like. This winter my car was a sno-balt or a co-plow. With the amount of snow we had my car acted like a plow on more than one occasion!! LOL
Thanks a lot!! and to answer your question, I had to disable my DRL's.
I've had a lot of compliments since they've been installed! They really give the car an aggressive look.

Here's some night pics. The lights are actually A LOT brighter than the pics are showing it's just foggy and wet!

The light does project further. Our drive way has an uphill grade to the road.

man, love the lights. i have the 3rd gen too, wasnt too sure about puttin 6000's in tho. my balt is sport-red so i threw in some red led's instead of the blues.....u should swap urs out for amber maybe to match the orange. how much of a bitch was it to aim urs? mine was such a pain....i think theyre still not right
I'm not going to frig around with the led's. My technical know how is pretty limited so just wiring up everything with help was pretty good for me. As for aiming I had a really good system set up. I used a small ratchet and counted all my turns to get the cut offs all lined up. It was still a bitch to get them all lined up perfectly and my car did suffer a few minor scratches.
Agreed, I like the lights even with the LED's. Once they die, I am unhooking them totally.
You don't need to wire them up.
