taillight installation problems?
I'm looking to get some new taillights and was just wondering if there would be any installation problems such as fried wires or messing any thing up in general. Just want to make sure because my dad says that I could easily fry some wires with aftermarket lights. Thanks

So much mis-information in this thread.
Let me qualify myself first. I've been modifying these exact taillights that you're looking to purchase for 3 years now. So I know what I'm taking about.
1. They are super simple to install. Simply insert the plug on the outer lights into your BULB SOCKET. The plug mimics the bulb you were using in your stock lights. No need to unplug your battery, you are basically replacing a "bulb".
2. Since about 5 months now, these lights DO come with resistors installed, at least if you order from K2Motor. They never used to have resistors. They already have green colored double sided adhesive tape on them so you can stick them on the metal of the quarter panel.
3. Don't buy them from Spec3, they are hella expensive. K2Motors on their Ebay store has the best price at ~120 shipped. Linky: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121159263652?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l26494. If you want LED rings in the inners as well, send me a PM
