ok so we started installing my lambo kit today and probably donna can answer this what type and psi struts do you have when we have the struts off the door fits fine ( with a small very small gap in the front) but when i and put the shocks on it pushes the door back so it dont close flush i need to know where you mounted to size of shocks and psi in them or for anyone who has lambo doors for that matter we worked today from 7am tilld 7pm and dident even get 1 door done.

ps i have a autoloc kit becuase that is what i have to use becuase iam sponsored by them
and btw i got my slant hood done today it worked great

IMO Lambo doors look hot as hell on Cobalts, dunno why but it works.

 

why would u hate someone who is actually modding their cobalts and doing custom work you can't buy cai and say its custom. lambo doors are hot as hell and 4 your information are actually functional and will save you from denting your doors on curbs hence the whole reason they were invented. keep uo the good work dude and pork go kill yourself.

okay and my opinion is that u shouldn't put dual exhaust on a car that only has 4 cylinders. what do you think about that opinion makes it look like a honda hence the dual exhaust on a 4 banger. how does it feel *******?

 

ok update on this lambo conversion DONT DO IT no matter what or who says it works the autoloc stuff is POS calling guage monday and having a fit i may call CA and see what they say and if they cut me a deal or something.. if not vertical doors .com have a buddy who works there and can get me the kit for my car cheap

who did u buy the kit from?
some places have direct bolt on kits, others require modification, we didnt have any issues with my car,

 

i was sponsored by autoloc thats who i got it from but iam droping them like a bad habbit i had 3 people helping me 1 guy who has installed over 20 lambo kits we almost had it to fit we reweileded the kit on 4 times and stripped it back off every time then while sitting there fusterrated i decited to put the fender back on to test it and it showed there that it would not fit all the way i would of only gotten like about 50 percent lift out of the 90 degree kit so we striped it all back off put the origional brackets back on and called it a day donna please either call me 205-233-1884 when you get a chance i got some questions about your kit name name is will btw..

 

damn dude that sux. I dunno how I would feel about lambo style doors but it totally sux your project fell through.

 

I'd say 650# shocks. I put some on a Trans am and those door are made of SMC (sheet molding compound) soo they are rediculously light. I suspect that the cobalt door are of similar construction and weight. I'm 90% sure 650's will work. Any tuner shop inthe area will have some 650's and 800's laying around.
