Turn SS into LT
Did a brief search with no results. I need to replace my front bumper cover, and I was thinking about just going with a LT front bumper, and that got me wondering if anyone has turned their SS into an LT look-a-like? I'm going to remove the SS emblems as well. Think it's make a pretty good sleeper at stop lights...

why bother? I've got a stock looking SS w/ high rise and nobody bats an eyelash anyways.... not that somebody revving there engine at me is a threat in the first place...

I recently put my wing back on for insurance reasons. It's crazy how many people notice me now. Had some guy get out of his truck and offer to buy in the McD's drive through.

Boggles my mind how people still think just removing the high rise will make the car get less attention...
Most SS owners have a loud exhaust, are lowered, and not to mention the factory body kit. The car stands out regardless of if it has a high rise or no spoiler at all.

In my area everyone knows about the cobalt ss turbo and supercharged. I have a supercharged g5 and thats the one everyone calls a sleeper. I was going to trade my rk sport rear lip for the ss one and guy bavked out because he wanted to stay with the "sleeper" look. Im like its an ss turbo and everyone in town already knows your car bro, and hes like yea but im still sleeper mode... its not 2008 anymore, everyone with a decent amount of car knowledge knows about the cobalt ss turbo.

this was the case a few years ago here. Everyone in "racing scene" know about cobalts and how capable they are. But double clutch is right, just depends on the crowd. Older guys dont know about the turbo cobalt but know about the supercharged one, mostly old muscle car guys. Also most younger guys here dont know much about cobalts in general, because theyre all into the stance scene.
