Wonder If you could just spray this over top regular spray painted rims, and wonder how well it will hold up to rocks

I think I may try as well want to change up the all black look. I think the dusting or 2 coats looks pretty cool as well. I also want to put fender stripes like that on my car we will see.

I think I used 3 cans for my 4 ss/sc rims but I could be wrong. Did them a few months ago and still no marks from rocks or anything. Only "hard" part is to make sure to spray close to the tire (where the tire touches the rim) so that it looks good up close. I used pieces of duck tape to make sure to never get the tire lol

Playing cards work best so it doesnt get on your tire and allows you to paint the whole rim

Painter tape the lip if you dont want to paint or do a black face and gold lip Imo itll look good

Well with plasti dip its hard to use tape cus when u try to take it off, the plasti dip will pull off also.
