Who makes the smoke tail lights on ebay? Any problems?

I’m not a fan of aftermarket lights, but I really want some tail lights. I don’t want to deal with paint and what not.
Who makes these? Is the quality good? (they are not painted correct? )

they are made by sonar and i think they are tinted plastic and not paint. i have a set of the ones that are not tinted still in the box. they look like they are of good quality though.

i have a set of these on my balt. i love em. anyone from the reklss meet on april 6 will tell ya they look factory. and the revese lights look good. i know they look funny in the pic.

Been wondering the same thing, i am always alittle skeptical of ebay but i like the lamps.

yeah so if anyone wants a set of the non tinted ones check out my thread in the parts for sale.. lol

my buddy made the bowtie and i put it on, it was oin with double stick tape and it either flew off or someone yanked it. i came outta work and it was gone. waitting for a new one. ill see if i can find pics on my tails. idont have a camera.

i have them on my car .... be careful i lost two of my outter lights lens' ... the adhesive from the lens to the framee of the light is pretty terrible.. so on the second pair i got ( do to a complaint) i siliconed the lens from the inside and have had no problems

i forgot about this my left side came loose so i just siliconed it. i guess i got lucky and it was just kinda dangling there. guess i forgot cause i dint loose it

The site owner buying from a non-supporting vendor opposed to buying from a site supporting vendor.

Those are the ones from ebay. Great quality and no issues so far!

I did not buy them from Ebay, it's where I found them at the time I made the post.
IF I end up getting these, I'd buy them from a vendor here, providing they have the same tails

ReignSS, modern performance lights are not tinted on the reverse lights.

And he does awesome work.. He did mine. Of course I like mine really dark... he can do any darkness you want.. He also did whitessbalts.

Here's mine. I bought them off of the same guy on e-bay. Have had no problems so far. The clips are a little weak but the screws hold it it fine.

Why don't you guys make your own using night shades? A can of night shades is $13. That beats the hell out of $95

I don't really like the matte finish of niteshades. Even with a clear coat, it still looks a little flat. Plus I didn't want to mess up my lights in case I ever want to go back stock. I did use niteshades on my side markers and third brake light.

I wanted the clean look of actual tinted plastic, not just some spray-can tint. I have yet to see nightshaded tail lights be real glossy like a normal tail light. And plus now I have a set of stockers if I ever need a extra set.

i bought these off ebay. ive had them for two months and the lense on the right side fell off. i wrote them an email and they said it was past the 30 day warranty. so i let them know how i felt and that i would let all of my friends know. just over 60 days and they fell apart. the left side came loose so i glued it real quick and i didnt get to do the right one yet. so if you do buy em, exopy or weatherstrip adheasive the lenses when you get them.

So do any of our vendors sell these smoke tail lights we see on ebay? I have been waiting to get them from one of the vendors here

Have you considered the Alteeze tail lights? The biggest drawback is that they stick out about 3/4" more then the originals -- but they "grow" on you:lol: The best thing about them is that all 4 lights light up. Thay have them available 4 ways tinted clear, chrome clear, ruby red, and crystal clear (with red face).
