Are windshield banners stupid?

my friend and me at work are arguing , he has a z24 cavi and it looks great ... but he wants to get it tinted and then put a big ass windshield banner on it that say CHEVROLET.... I told him it would look kind of silly depending on how big and what color ..... I just see alot of redneck 16 year old kids with big ass trucks on lift kits with that all the time so I am not really a fan of it but I am at work and bored so I thought Ide see what anyone else thinks....

I'm not really a fan either. I hate those that put their car type. Like we really need to see real big letters on what type of car you have. If it was something like css.net, then maybe. That's a lot better than having "Chevrolet" or "Cobalt"

That's kinda what I thought.... but to each his own..... I guess he ended up getting it done anyways because he showed up to the dealership today with his windows blacked out and chevrolet across the top.... it doesnt look insanely dumb but I think it's overkill..... I dont really care for stickers or graphics ....

yeah I hate all graphics and stickers, except maybe racing stripes on some colors of ss/sc. On mine(silver) I dont think it'd look good, but I've seen a few that looked good.

They look stupid.

Especially if you're cruising around in your base Neon with a HEMI banner. I laughed the entire day when I saw that tool driving around.....

Only windshield banners I like are the ones on shop cars (the cars the SHOP owns) and an aftermarket manufactuer/shop that the car is actually sponsored by.

Banners stating what kind of car you drive or the maker of it is retarded and pointless. Just like the big "H" stickers people put on the back on Hondas sometimes........im sure everyone is well aware that its a Honda.

I have the chevrolet banner. I love it. Makes it stand out among all the other ****** cobalts out there. I had it on my old Z24 too, as well as red chevy bowties in the quarter windows. I decided to do the same on the 'balt sort of as a tribute to my old car. I'll probably do the same scheme on every car I own (assuming they are Chevys). I'll grab a pic, hold up.

^^^^ could be the angle of the pictures, but your banner looks crooked.

Windshield banners aren't the worst thing out there, but I don't personally like them.

Those huge Honda logos in the back windshield are just a big red target sign to me. Nothing like putting a few semis on an ignorant Honda owner for a few grins. It's them smart Honda owners I worry more about
