Full details can be found on our sign up page: Link
The cost for the whole day is only $30.00
We are in contact with John Heinricy and he may very well be there.
As of right now John will be racing up at Road America that day.

If you enjoy pushing your car on the street, you owe it to yourself and your car to take advantage of the Autocross event on the 23rd. You will never find a more cost-effective, low stress, supportive environment in which to discover the magic of your ride approaching the limit. This is what it was born to do.
The event organizers are supportive and helpful, and you will be hard pressed to find a better environment to discover autocrossing. You can ride along with other drivers, or have an experienced competitor ride along with you for some free quality instruction (price any commercial racing school to see just what a bargain that can be).
The competition aspect is very low-key; this is all about having adrenalin-pumping fun with your car in a safe environment. You will not believe how much fun you can have in less than sixty seconds in a parking lot full of little orange cones, until you try it for yourself.
If you don't know what an autocross is, watch some of the videos one of the organizers made autocrossing his car. Just select a year and then select a video. You will need a Quicktime player to view the videos
So come on out and we'll see you on the 23rd

Crap. 8am start...
I was thinking I'd get into town around 10am... It's 17 hours from here to the hotel, so I was going to drive most of the day Wednesday, sleep, and drive a couple hours Thursday morning. Even if I re-arrange my travel schedule, I don't think I'll want to spend several more hours in my car after driving that long.

Yes it's wayyyy better than drag racing. So much fun. And if people are nervous about trying it, I'll offer as much help, advice and ride along or give rides! I'm no pro class guy, but I've done a few autox's.
Working the course is a good way to learn certain areas of the course and see what techniques people are using or mistakes they are making.
This is the most fun you can have for 30 dollars, trust me!!

10? That's it?!
C'mon people, sign up for this. It's a great opportunity to try it out for your first time and you will most likely learn a lot since there will be some very experienced drivers there (John Powell, John Heinricy). I used to be all about drag racing, but after my first autox run that totally changed.
