Dry Run Vs Wet Run
 

I love racing in the rain but this goes to show how a wet surface can affect a car :)

I was pushing in the wet to, trying to beat a D stock WRX on street tires as well. At the end I got him by .4 in the wet.

A) Nice runs, i doubt i could do that wet or dry :lol:
b) i think when top gear does their official test track runs on their test cars with the stig, they allow 2 seconds extra for a wet lap. mind you, i think their FASTEST around their lap is around 1:07. they do this so that when comparing cars, they can do this:

koenniggsegg agera 1:11
bugatti veyron ss 1:13 (wet)
cobalt ss n/a 1:14
honda civic 24:45

so as you can see, roughly, if the bugatti was driven in the dry, perhaps would have been neck and neck or beaten the koenniggsegg

it seems odd that they wouldnt wait to get every car a dry run... but it does rain quite a bit over there.
