I read that in the last issue of the SCCA's magazine. Honestly I surprised when I read it. Not a lot of people racing Cobalts anymore, so it's always nice to one actually win :
Was he car a SC or a TC?

I was there and watched the race first hand. Fandozzi was the only one of the front runners to go our on the full slicks. Everyone else was on Rains. Puskar in the S2000 spun while he was in 2nd mid-way through the race and ended up right on the back of Fandozzi going into the last turn of the last lap. If the race was 1 lap longer he probably would have won.
It was a great drive by Fandozzi going out on a wet track on dry slicks.
Puskar was 2nd on the new Hoosier H2O and the 3rd place 350z was on 4 year old Hoosier wets.
Mike Kramer in the Ion had a good run up to 2nd on the first lap but running on Michelin PS2s as rain tires is not very fast. When you run the BFGs that's what you run for a rain tire. If he was on a real rain like the Hoosiers I bet he would have ran away with the win.
One thing to note about Fandozzi's car is it is whisper silent. I forget what h runs for an exhaust but you barely hear any engine noise.
