-1 is probably stock camber. There is no real adjustment unless you enlarge the strut bolt holes (or if you have coilovers). No caster adjustment either.

I don't have any road racing experience, but I reckon 0 toe would work fine for track and street use if you have Powell's tcabs. The car can become a bit twitchy though, more camber and wider tires will exacerbate the effect.

So, I'm on coilovers, but here's the specs I'm running currently.

-2.25 camber fronts, -1 camber rear (That's how my rear beam is bent)
Caster is at 4.0
Front toe is 0.
Rear toe is 1/16 in

yea i just had them keep it simple. I only needed the alignment since i switch from pedders/FE5 to YYZ/Konis my toe and camber was a little off.

I went with -1 Camber, 0 Toe and Caster was w.e it needed to be.

My rear was dead on so i was happy about that since i can do anything about it anyway.

When I had my headliner out to get wrapped, I put my gopro roughly where the sunroof would be. Since you have a sunroof, I reckon that would work pretty good.

Autocross at Mossville 10/27/13 Cobalt SS - YouTube
I've only mounted a camera on the inside of my sunroof once, and found out that it moves around quite a bit. Granted it was a DSLR, which is a bit heavier than a GoPro, but still, it was too much for my Canon image stabilizer to handle.
I made a mount in between the 3 front seats using some metal strips from Home Depot, wrapped in electrical tape. I remove both headrests and run the inner pins through the strip. Works pretty well for a front facing shot including the driver. Rear facing I usually just put it on the outside of the rear window.

Before, I mounted it on the dash close to the hazard light button. But it picked up too much of the dash. Here is that video.

I use a suction cup mount almost behind the rearview mirror now. I would have video, but I broke an axle in NCM Motorsports Park a few weeks ago. It was right at the beginning of my 2nd session of a 2 day event. It was so embarrassing.

On a different note, what do you guys recommend for control arms and control arm bushings for a daily driver and weekend track rat?

I can't believe that I have never seen this thread. Here is my setup.

2006 SS/SC

Engine:
ZZP Long Tube catless
ZZP 3" Catback
80# Injectors
OTTP 3" Intake
2.9 Pulley
COR Catch Can (Getting Powell's setup soon)
OTTP Front Mount HE
HPTuned by Ebristol on E85 291whp 248wtq

Brakes:
Hawk Blues Front (Never use these rotor killers)
Stock Napa Pads in the rear (HP+ died at RA on me)
Motul 600 Brake Fluid
I have a set of Brembo's going on the car next year.

Suspension:
Powell Street Bar
YYZ
LNF Struts
Front Camber is -2.1 with 0 toe and the rear is what ever it is.

Wheels/Tires:
17x8 +40 OZ Alleggerita
235/40/17 Toyo R88

Misc:
Powell Tow Hooks
Sparco R100 seats
COR Seat Brackets w/sliders

My home track is Road America so I have been there a lot but sometimes I hit up the Milwaukee Mile Road Course. I also have a Fiat 500 Abarth that likes to steal some track time from the Cobalt. Recently I took it down to Bowling Green, KY on the National Corvette Museum track. What a blast that was.

So, photos, videos etc all still coming, but we raced Redline Time Attack in Fontana the other Sunday morning, finished 3rd, drove 100 miles to Willow Springs and still managed to finish 3rd in Global Time Attack that afternoon.

Gearing up now for Buttonwillow on Halloween weekend, where hopefuly new springs and brakes will be tested, and trying to put something together to get the cobalt to Super Lap Battle in November.... theres never been a cobalt at that event....

That's awesome Chris, congratulations!
It's great to see a Cobalt compete in the real world, although we all know it can.
And we all know it's not all the car either!
Looking forward to seeing some videos!

Did a track day at my home track of Road America last weekend. Yes, we ran with the motorcycle bend, but oh well. It was the first time my car turned laps there this year, so I did it anyways.

I just cracked my front rotors yesterday at NCM. It looks a little smaller than this:

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...mg=598469&md=1

They are from the ZZP 14.5 BBK. I believe it was due to Chin Motorsport not doing a cool down lap. And my fault for not tooling around the end of a paddock after the session. What do you guys think?

Eh, rotors are a wear item. Also, yeah, if you don't get a cool down lap, you should be doing a lap around paddock. Goodness knows there's enough space at NCM to drive around with no problem.

might want to find out where they get their rotors from. im sure they arent the best out there.

you should be doing a cool down lap or just taking a lap around but i dont see that causing cracking the first day its done or even the 2nd day. rotors are 100% a wear and tear item

^^This. I cracked 2 (front) rotors at the road track and both were R1Concepts. Turns out they buy inferior steel cheap Chiwanese blanks, throw a nice powder coat on them and call them "Premium Rotors" lol. They both had tons of tiny hair cracks in them as well. I have never had these issues with OEM Made in Germany LNF rotors. In fact, I still run the ones that came with the car in 2010.
Personally, I don't think the ZZP BBK is worth the money anyway. Stock rotors with some good race pads for the win
