damn.. Ohio, hmmmm.. perhaps..
and everyone is getting stage 2 and stuff.. lol wtf but me..
well, i'm getting a NEW steering wheel.. so ha.. lol.. from Chevy.. actually, it is wearing out.. Jerome Taylor (last place I gave a chance to in Windsor for anything) said they want ME to come back when the guy comes in to "condition" the wheel.. I don't have time..
so I went to Les Stanford in Michigan.. and well, without question, Mike the manager there, said no problem, we'll replace it, under warranty.. lol..
oh, and I purchased personalized plates.. you guys can wait to see em'.. hehe.. it'll be a change.. they are sweet..

and all Cobalt members save the tax!
as for the new plates, they are suppose to be 4-6 weeks.. the lady said perhaps even sooner because the demand is low right now for them..
when my dad bought his, he had them in 2 weeks.. so we'll see..

Igor.. you should be making more than that.. I dynoed at 231hp and 216ft.lb torque.. with just an aem intake.. what fuel were you using? I was on 94 Sunoco for that dyno day.. but run 91 V Power on a steady basis..

i was using 91 and its 240 to the wheels
first time i dynoed 226whp with just a intake and now 240whp with intake and exhaust

What's up OntarioBalt, saw you this weekend on Tecumseh and we spoke for a while. I own a yellow 07 SS/SC, tinted windows w/ sunroof & chrome wheel option, bone stock.
I'll be getting the Stage 2, how long did it take for your kit to ship? Did it come with the dealer code to flash the ECM?

Hey buddy! Yah I remember trying to chase you down on Tecumseh Rd. It was funny cause I was behind you on Tecumseh near Jefferson then you took off straight through the turning lane at the lights....never thought I was gonna catch up with all the traffic. Did you find the Stage 2 kits on e-bay I was talking about? One just sold for $400 US. I had mine shipped to my friends house in Michigan...took about 3-4 days.(not sure about Canada shipping times) You won't be dissapointed with this kit. When you get it installed let me know...maybe I can talk to my salesman and get you the same deal I got @ Dane Kane. (where did you buy your car?) The kit does come with the authorization code for reflash.
I'm not sure when the Windsor guys will meet again? We did it a few weks ago and have not planned anything else. A few of us might drive down to Columbus Ohio on Oct. 27 for a meet, you are more then welcome to join us. Check for more details under the OHIO thread.

YO! I bought the car from John Gibbons in Chatham. If you could hook me up with the same deal from Dan Kane, I'll gladly take it. Specially since he now has some experience installing Stage 2's, the Chatham dealership never has (I think).
I'm buying the stage 2 within the week. You guys got me all wound up about the car again. Thinking back, I've never received so many compliments about a stock car... ever.

Just bought it off Ebay, same seller that sold one to you. The difference will be that I'm having it shipped directly to Windsor. It will probably be a week or two until I see it. Instead of $30 USD, it was $45, no biggie. Hopefully it doesn't take too long.
Isn't USPS on strike or something? I asked for it to be shipped via Fedex / Purolator / UPS, so far he's been right on top of things. Answering mail within hours.

The same seller used Fedex for mine. If he uses UPS or maybe even Fedex(?)to Canada be prepared to pay a brokerage fee and the GST at the door upon delivery. Tell him to make the value for customs like $15 dollars..just put down injectors and belt. They rarely check and this will save you $$ to be collected at the door. Just a thought...something the UPS man told me. I learned the hard way.... He will probably use Fedex...you can call Fedex to get an idea of what charges to expect at the door.

I agree...I'm still sore! I bought a $45 AEM air filter and got charged $37 at the door...never again. I'll continue to make the drive to my buddy's in MI.

guys, I was wondering how is the warranty of GM stage 2 going work? If my basic warranty expires (will be very soon), does the stage 2 has its own warranty? How much did u pay to have it put on @ DK?

I agree about the Ohio trip......was planning on leaving Windsor at 9am that morning...should put us in Columbus around 11:30ish. Who else is in besides me and Brad?
