Thumbs down

I know it's always fun to bring up old posts and stuff...so wouldn't it be nice if OCC recognized Windsor's existence?

Hey fellas, I just got my ride dyno'd at WPracing and I hit 231 whp and 213 ft-lbs as my baseline.

I can't wait to pop the Stage 2 and with an intake. I'll go back for another couple of pulls then.

Sup Wleee, now that I met ya I'll be sure to drop by your convenience store and raid it. Did they open up the underpass yet? That used to be part of my route.

I really wish more of you guys could attend the Ohio meet this Saturday. I think it would be a fun drive down with a few Cobalts.

So is Les Stanford the way to go? My guess is this is warranty work? I already have a bad taste in my mouth from our dealers...

Damn straight.. i'll never ever go back to any of our home dealerships again.. not even for a freakin' car wash..

the only reason i'm going back to Revenburgs is to sue them.. for failing to repair my car.. and for mental anguish.. and lost wages.. ah hell i'm gonna' sue the **** out of them cause i can and cause they deserve it..

Guys.. just an FYI to anyone interested.. if you want the stock boost gauge which reads in PSI form.. go over to Les Stanford.. I just bought mine..and paid $77.26, with tax, US..

over here, the price is $250CDN, plus tax.. and it took about 5 whole minutes to install.. and it looks awesome.. and reads so much better than the one in KPa.. just thought i'd fill ya guys in.. tata..

Maybe we can all meet once more before the snow hits and we put on the ugly winter rims? Maybe next Saturday down by the water again? There's a few new faces that need to come out....what do you guys think?

Stage 2 Kit is finally in after being held up at the border for weeks. This is suposedly the second package sent out to me, either way, it just arrived at my house. I'm at work, but wanna get the damn thing installed yesterday. Which dealership should do the install? And for how much?

I hear Dan Kane, or Reaume Jones.. but I wouldn't pay more than $300, tax included.. but that's just me.. Cause' i'm gettin' my stuff installed elsewhere.. it doesn't void the warranty or anything.. but the Stage2 PARTS will only be warranted for 12month/20k.. that's the whole deal when ya pay a lot of money.. i could give two ***** if a pulley broke.. or a belt snapped.. ya, like that's likely.. running 1000hp maybe..

It does void the warranty bud. While you have the part warranty left, if something goes wrong with the engine in general and they trace it back to a faulty Stage 2 kit install then you're SOL. I believe that's the catch.

And yes, thanks again Darren, Dan Kane did it for $100 less than the list price of $384 + tax. They quoted me $284 + tax, which ended up being $326 tax included (there was some sort of $1 and change in "environmental fees").

It's a whole new car man, after the kit, I don't recognize it at all and I LOVE IT!! It pulls SOOO hard in second through the rest of the gears. I've seen over 100 kpa boost now, which is +15 psi. I can't say i've taken it past 6250 either, my foot is still trained for the old rev limiter.

Also, in second gear I seem to have a two tier pull. The first tier which pins you into the seat is from when I hit the gas until about 4000 rpm, from there it just sinks the passenger into the seat all the way up to the red.
