Drag racing this sunday (april 30) @ st thomas

We are meeting up to go drag racing on april 30th at St Thomas. I believe Ninja44 is coming, and hopefully, we will score a 1-2-3 GM finish (our buddy with another z28, my car, ninja's cobalt) against a certain group of smack-talking Ford mustang boys.
Im tuning the car this week and changing the tune from "stun" to "kill" mode. heheh.

There was rain in the forecast all last weekend for this area too and we didn't end up getting much of anything until Sunday afternoon. Depending on what time you guys are heading down at I might be awake so if Sean calls me I could give a general idea of what the weather is like. I'm also far north London...a lot can change between here and Sparta though .

I just checked the forecasts, and it is calling for clear weather on both sat/sun with a high of 16 degrees.

What time is everyone planning on being there at? If it's nice and I'm up I'll make the trip down for sure .

Ouch...Google is saying 255km or about 3.5 hours but those distances don't match up with the speeds of the 401. That's still one hell of a hike though !

Not being a wimp...more concerned with still being drunk . I'll get a hold of someone to make sure everyone is there before I head down .

Is anyone coming up that isnt racing? If so, I need a big favour... hehehe. Im swapping out drag radials and dont want to leave my street rims sitting around out in the open. I'll buy beer for anyone who can let me put my tires in their trunk!!!

I won't be racing I'll just be watching and hanging out...don't wanna back-up the lanes for 16 seconds while I limp down the track . I can try putting them in my trunk but I had a hell of a time even fitting my 4 16s when I got the winters changed out. Worth a shot though...guess that means I have to try to be there when the gates open .

Not a problem...I'll do my best to get there as early as I can so you're not sitting around waiting . Should be able to get there by 11:15ish if I get my lazy ass outta bed by 10.

...I'll answer the question anyways in case you're back over the summer or somethin'. It's anywhere between a 30 and 45 minute drive depending on how many nimrods you run into on the highway. Highbury seems to be the best bet...Wellington is so full of curves and lights it's nutts...makes for one hell of a drive at 120km/h plus though .

No rush.. there is usually an hour between the time they open up the gates and the time they start teching cars in.
