FS: home speakers
Since there is not a section for selling misc stuff I will post this in my regional sub-forum.
speakers are a brand called nuance, not great stuff, but not terrible either, its all about 5-6 years old, 8/10 condition
set includes:
2 - 2 way bookshelves, 8 inch woofer, 1 inch tweeter, sealed box, black woodgrain
2 - 2 way bookshelves, 6.5 inch woofer, 1 inch tweeter, sealed box, solid black finish
1 - center channel, 6.5 inch woofer, 1 inch tweeter, sealed box, solid black finish
1 - subwoofer, 10 inch woofer, 200 watt amp, down firing, front ported, solid black finish
2 - ikea speaker stands, silver, attached to smaller bookshelves to be used as rear speakers, wont support the bigger bookshelves
main speakers are rated at 125watts rms, not sure about the rears/center, but i would figure 100 watts rms
these are 4ohm speakers tho, they will not run properly on a crappy receiver, i used them for a while on a kenwood that was only rated for 8ohm speakers and they caused the receiver to go into protect mode if you turned the volume up too high. i had them running for the longest time on my yamaha receiver with no problems.
paid over $2000 for them, will sell for $400 OBO cause i dont have space to keep them
too many pieces and too heavy to ship, located in the GTA, can arrange for pickup or delivery
