h/e question need help please
 
this goes out to everyone who is running with the cx heat exchanger or ca for that matter and a 2.9....

( i'm currently running stage 2)

im looking at purchasing the cx heat exchanger and a 2.9 and was wondering what kind of temp. drops i will be looking at? also with running the 2.9 what gains i will be looking at as well? my temps right now are average 80-83

can anyone give me some info for pros and cons on the combination?

where are you getting the 80-83 temp numbers from?? the coolant temp?? the heat exchangers are for the intercooling system that is seperate from the cars engine coolant. id say a HE is well worth it.

im looking at the coolant on the dash display...i just put 2 and 2 together and its engine coolant and not the supercharger lol. yah,im a noob hah hah

you need an interceptor gauge or something OBD II that will show you Intake Air 2 temps...

its usually around 100-115 while cruising and as much as 140-150 at WOT before any cooling mods

I have gm stage2 , custom water to air & hp tuner and tune by TAG racecraft and my IAT is around 75 deg.
and i made 248.9 hp @ 227.2 lbs torque sae ask them probably they could help you. web:tagracecraft.com :twothumbs
