there is so much BS with these transmissions. Stronger case bolts. Right.SMH.
99% of the ones come back come back because they were not assembled correctly with new parts where it counts. There sure is a lot of hype out there. shot peening and rem finishing are all valuable processes, but its not going to create a magic bullet for the transmission to stand up, and you pay through the nose to have it done.
Proper assembly and a decent driver who doesnt rush upshifts/misshift/not rev match going down, the trans will last just fine with lots of power.

I think for an F23 that would be awesome. Converting an F35 car to F23 is an exercise in nothingness plus big money spent.
Plus 650 to stick the 1100 quaife into the F23 plus essential parts.
I got a modest supply of 4.45, so all our waiting list is handled and more 4.45 are on the way. Harvest in winter, whodathunk it?

The quaife for the F23 is 1100 plus shipping , no OEM solutions to go to the boneyard to find.

Anyways, have about 25-30 miles on the 6 speed swap now, and it is something else. The gears aren't near as short as everyone seems to assume, and it feel so damn solid. So far I am very pleased with my purchase.

I was just stating what ZZP and Rudy had/have on their descriptions for the modifications to the trans. Should different grade external bolts make any difference? Probably not. But Shep, Buscher and the like do it to their trans' as well. Good to hear you have 4.45 gear sets now though John, as I know last we talked you were very low on supply and hoping to find some.
