Nope mine will read just like a Dynojet when used in inertia mode. They are calibrated from factory and you can't fudge the numbers!

Dustin what did you make the second time there????
Haha ya I made 301/260 with an OTTP stage 2 and meth lol. Then we went to motion a week later where I made 259/227. So I told Brian about it. That's when he borrowed a fwd from someone and calibrated it. Said he would give me a free dyno session but kept giving me the run around so I never went back.

I made 257whp corrected at Speedfactor. Stock tune with downpipe. Torque was messed up.

Also be jealous of my rpms.... Seems like torque was cut in half and rpms were doubled.

Taylor since you're the dyno guy, What would cause that?

That's really weird, especially for a Dynojet since there aren't really any end user adjustments for the calibration of the dyno. The RPM's being off like that though makes it seem like something was wrong with the tach signal, especially since the tq and hp cross at 5252 like they should, but then it goes up another 7k rpms lol. Just looks like something was scaled improperly or something maybe.

Bingo.

Why speed factor has tach signal issues with our cars but yet a million other cobalts have used a dynojet without issue is beyond me. But then again their tach signal pick up is just some tiny shitty ass alligator clips.

Most Dynojet operator just use those alligator clips on a coil/ignition wire and don't have any issue, but usually they have an optical pickup that they can set up in case they can't get a signal though the clips. I know mine has just used the clips on both dyno's I have been on.

All this dyno talk is givin me the itch!!

Id say 75% of the people on that dyno day had tach signal issues. Super strange.

Well it's ****** gay cause Id like to dyno there! Especially on E45, 30psi and on an import dyno day lol. I even told them my concerns after the dyno day, said they would talk to dynojet, address the tach signal issue with no further reply.

You need to hound them! Cause you gotta let your dick hang at a dyno day

Anyone who is planning on paying me a visit and running on my dyno and/or anyone I'm tuning, lets set some goals for this year for power numbers!

a stronger rubber band. I am guessing 270ish will be the more realistic number sorry.

On pump gas Id say 250-260.

Basing those numbers from my old set up and numbers.

I was thinkin in the 250-265whp range as well too Mike, on pump gas. With meth I could easily see 270+ happening. For Dustin I think 460whp is definitely attainable as long as it holds boost, which it has no reason not too!

For ol Red I need to see that 600whp number to quench my thirst For the gray one I'd like to see it crack 300whp, even if I have to unbolt the exhaust and throw a 3" catless downpipe on it from the black one. The black one before I sell it I would like to see 280whp out of it. And Trevor's car I'd like to push for 350whp!
