On a larger pulley though it wouldn't be as much issue, just wouldn't make the power. I still say 2.9 and meth :P

Dustin C, I actually am buying a brand new Dynocom 5000 series with an eddy current brake that will allow me to hold load and do steady state tuning too
Oh **** with coop 91 the car would see like 5* of timing lol. But just saying if he didn't feel comfortable running meth a 2.9" pulley and 94 octane would serve him decent still. There would just be way more power left on the table.

I would gladly use 94 oct gas no prob. Just after dustins issues with meth and seeing his buddy kevin blow up on the dyno due to meth failure it freaks the **** out of me. 300 whp would be the goal.

With 94 it's definitely doable. I blew my stock motor up a week before dyno day but the virtual dyno said in the 330whp range with a 14gph meth nozzle so I don't see why you can't hit 300 on 94.

don't get me started on co op 91, that **** is awful. whenever I use it I get nothing but knock retard constantly. petro 91 is far better, no knock retard at all.

Well **** Dustin I have been wrong about your last name all along

Yeah on 94 I would say 300whp shouldn't be an issue at all. Lets find out on my dyno after I place my order today

I was reading in another thread in the dyno thread that a dynocom always reads happy? Better than a heartbreaker lol. But was just curious.

The earlier ones seemed to read a little high, and then there were models that read low as well. But its seems like with the new tapered shaft design and the new software that's been out a couple years tha they are damn close to a dynojet

That TX2k15 looks like a sweet event. That roll racing should be fun to watch.

Sweet! Exciting times for dynoing!

That style of dyno doesn't require a hole to be dug does it?

No dyno requires a pit, but a lot of people do it for ease of getting cars on and off. I'll just be using ramps to get the cars on the rollers since this dyno sits pretty low to the ground.

As for TX2K, I'll be participating in the racing at night, but I won't be in the actual event.
