Picking up some 17" sport wheels today. Invo's are not Winter tires...

Got the wheels and tires mounted today. Not much clearance to the caliper but enough for now. Might get 3mm spacers.

Yeah the 17s actually clear unlike the 18.

Mine with 5mm spacer couldn't fit a dime between the caliper and the rim.

why do you need spacers? if the wheels clear they clear, its not like they will accidently move closer and hit the calipers ever. my wheels clear by like an 1/8 inch, not once did they hit. lol

I say this cause I had the same thought as you until in dawned on me. lol

Wheels flex a surprising amount. Something could get wedged in between also.

Well if mine havent in 6 years then i doubt ud have issues. I was scared of ice build up but never happened either

I definitely had snow ice build up break off on them. If it was open diff it probably would have been a bitch to break out.
