Manitoba SS 2016

No worries. I managed to get the nuts off. Gasket had failed rusted out so it was all leaking and loud. Fixed now.

Next up is front rotors and pads.

Whenever I drive in standing water or slush my engine torques over and my downpipe hits something. Ottp vs Powell mounts pros and cons. Would I only need the one mount?

Powell pro- Canadian vendor and Canadian shipping. the Ottp one is Powells design. Ottp shipping and usd pricing are both negatives.

Not sure what the price difference is.
Last time I looked Ottp was about 70$ cheaper not taking exchange and shipping into account.

You should support Powell, he is the one that developed all of these parts for our cars. Rather then stealing designs like other vendors.

Also pricing in cdn dollars. No PayPal fees if you pay with bank transfer, typically takes 2 days for shipping.

AND John actually stands behind his products, he guarantes his cabs as long as you own the car.

Ottp, 110usd + 32usd shipping
142usd = 190cdn (plus ~3% for PayPals hidden conversion fees)
Plus duty charges as they ship ups.

And John's is no more expensive.

Just ordered from Powell. Their prices are technically in USD but she gives them to Canadians in CAD. Sent an e-transfer, really easy to deal with.

Ya it ****** blows. But it was pretty painless dealing with Visa which was nice. Just gonna have to wait a little longer to order the stuff. Not like my car is moving soon anyways.

The gf's mom had her identity stolen. Makes anything involving the bank a headache.

Brother used my car the other day and complained about shifting into 5th. Didn't realize how used to i got and how bad it really was.

Made 2 adjustments. First to the left which made it worse and then a bit to the right and it ended up perfect.

When I first installed it I was worried about it leaning away from me when in neutral, 3rd and 4th so I over compensated.

Anyway. Car shifts so much nicer. Still notchy but goes into gears straight instead of bumping left or right and now I don't catch an edge going into 5th.
