Its never boring with the right music

So it seemed liked my Sport wheels wouldn't seat fully against the brake rotor. Bore sizing is supposed to be the same. Had a clunking, wheels were tight so I assume it was my rotors moving around.

Anyway put 3mm spacers on the rear and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Got my motor ordered. May take a few weeks though seeing as their machines machinest is backed up a little on porting heads

I don't think it's necessary to start a new thread to ask this, but does this look like a normal amount to you guys or am I going to have to change a gasket soon? To me it seems excessive for how low of km's it had but maybe it sat too long and dried out or something.

I'd say change the gasket man. That's sweating all the way around.

Mike gave me a heads up, Speed Factor is having a pre stocking order on Nankang tires. They gave me a really good price on their drag radials I was contemplating so screw it I'm gonna try em this summer.

heeter_33 01-27-2017 08:41 PM

Any good places online in Canada to order from or just go to the dealer?

Not sure if I feel confident to do something like that. Maybe paint the valve cover while its off though. Still need to install my catless dp and gms1 sensors from 2015 black friday, and get a tune from kmo haha.

slapbetcommissioner 01-28-2017 01:37 PM

Thanks for the heads up on those tires mike. Just threw a deposit on some summer tires.

Which tire did you go with?

My friend bough NS-2R's last Summer. Never really pushed them at all yet.

slapbetcommissioner 01-28-2017 02:23 PM

Damn. I'd really like some street input on them. I can only find track reviews.

slapbetcommissioner 01-28-2017 10:18 PM

I'm also curious about those r compounds! Not what I need but at that price they would still be tempting

yellow dragon 02-02-2017 01:25 PM

Ya I put a deposit on some NS-2's as well.

Bluelightning 02-02-2017 02:12 PM

Any of you guys interested in a v3 Powell separator? Comes with one line for the intake manifold and needed fittings. U will need to make it but the other 3 lines and dipstick tube. Will let it go for 200, 75 bucks off, its brand new. I have an extra.
