Did you check the gap before installing? When I got my new ones two of them were off by .02-.04

Haha yeah he's on another level for sure. But he loves it otherwise.

I can't even put in to words how Atlanta was lol. I was a kid in a high horsepower, super car candy store haha.

Well car is back on the road.
Started getting a gas smell early in the summer and then started getting shitty starts after the car sat for a day or more. Took me a while to find the problem as I couldn't find any fuel leaks. Finally one day a puddle started to form under my back tire and I got a hpfp performance code. Looked like there was a pinhole of rust on the fuel line. Took it to my friends shop to get it patched. Turns out it wasn't the spot of rust that was leaking but pretty much solid rust from the tank to the over axle spot beside the tire. Big ass hole and many more threatening to start. The return line was also soft with rust.
So a patch job turned into fuel line replacements. Upgraded to copper impregnated so they shouldn't rust again. Car is back to running in good form.

ugh ****.

Shifted to 5th today only to have it pop out on me. It's fine at cruising speed though with no acceleration.

Also noticed my shifter cables are shot again. One the the seals on the end tore and now the moisture is making it freeze up.

Wonder if they could be the problem or the syncro to fifth is shot. Would occasionally grind during engagement.

I need to order a trans. Probably going with a LSJ trans. This car is beyond saving as a long term daily driver might as well make it more fun.

Surprisingly fuel mileage on the highway isn't bad in 4th at 100.

Lsj trans is definitely the best bang for the buck. So you have no 5th at all? Syncros you said?
