Had a lil run in with a guy that said he had Stage 2.. It was a black 05 and even had a sticker on the back side windows that said Stage 2. And back bumper was pretty fucked up. lol

Now he had a car full and I had a passenger, but he didnt pull at all.. Actually I got ahead a little and stayed there.

I dunno. if your on here but id like to do it again.. Maybe with a little less passengers on your part.

I told him I was a dissapointed with what I saw, and he just said he had a full load.. So whoo knows!

2 200lb guys is almost equivlant to .5sec in the quarter mile so I don't see any reason to be dissapointed.

lol maybe makes a difference in a honda civic that does 80MPH in a 1/4 but I dont agree that is makes much of a difference at all. I am guessing 4 to 2 passengers is a difference of 330 LBS (165lbs per guy). Hardly a problem in a cobalt of any other car that is quick or fast. Having the extra 45 horses is supposed to give you .7 off the 1/4 as well.

He could have other issues like cam timing or the dealer gave him stage 1 reflash (according to my dealer there is a difference).

I dont have it and I know how much it costs. $1000 is the best deal you can get at this point.

I know when I have a full load I can feel the difference in the overall performance of the car. No doubt about that. Maybe thats why it was a kinda of a even race? Unless the dealer told him that the sticker adds 40 HP. lol

I forgot to update this. Price shipped was $147 and change from JBP. They got it to me in 8 days, so 6 business days shipped.

I still have a hard time with this. Call me a fool but I want to see how much of a difference this really makes. I do believe it will make a difference just not by that much to make a STage II with four people = stock with one person.

Stock with 2 people. Just so we have our stories right

I truly believe a full load will slow you down significantly.. Just from the Ass-O-Meter

This was actually in a FWD Dodge Charger, and it went 11.62@125MPH

I went out for a bit at around 10:30. Nice night for a cruise. Portage was a crawl though, and there were a ton of cops out. Had a ghost car on my ass for a bit on Main until a rice burner flew past me, cut me off across two lanes and made a stupid left turn. The ghost car ditched me at that point When are people going to learn that Sunday is not the night to drive like a tool?

Well.. the fact that they haven't learned to not be a tool in day-to-day life pretty much shows that they will never learn..

I heard about that, I thought it was only a problem on the 05's because of the difference in the engine mounts. The 05's have a flat mount, the 06's have ribs in the mount?.. Or is it the other way around...?
