ok cool - i might just get parts from you next time, lol. Orion fixed the crank seal and detailed the car, but when i started it up, the belt smoked and shredded, and now they are gonna take 7 days to get a new belt in - I tell you, Orion parts dept is their weak point....

Hmmm. Tuesday is a weak day. I thought there was lots requesting thursday. Am I wrong. that could be changed if Tuesday is not a good day for anyone other than thought.

Well, since the new belt I'm getting is free, you might have a hard time beating that, lol. I'm driving on the old belt as of today, and they will give me the new one once it comes in. I't just a bit tattered on one edge. Apparently they put it on one tooth over, and it rubbed and pulled the pullies out of whack. CAn't believe they didnt hear that/smell that when they drove it out of the shop in the first place.....Oh well - I get a new belt and my car detailed for free - and to top it all off, the mechanic forgot his wallet in my car, which I am returning tomorrow.....

I went down to Orion to check out some SS's. They had a sexy sunburst orange on the lot for $27,000 with heat seats, sunroof, polished rims. I'm going to inquire about it forsure.

Also i'm assuming that was you Thought, parked out front? Car looks farmilar, seen it half a dosen times on kenaston.

lol........it wasn't ME who parked it there. They had it for warranty work, shined it up and put it on display there until I came, only to start it up, shred the belt and put it right back in the garage.

Speaking of Kenaston, who's SOM SC was behind me today? I think I waved a bit, but when I looked at you, you passed by - wasn't sure if you saw the wave.

Oh, and a big P.S.: I finally convinced the parts department at Orion that there is a lower grill insert that fits the SC - I showed them the part number from crateenginedepot.com - they know the part number now and can order it for anyone who wants. It's P/N 15773841. (Originally for the 2.4 SS)
