Ontario SS 2013
Just looking to see who's all from Ontario. I don't see too many threads on here with Ontario members. I just bought my 09 SS TC in white and I'm looking to meet up with people for meets. I'm up in the Barrie area.

I don't think it's a fail, definitely more quiet than this site that's for sure. OCC just doesn't a lot of what do you think of this .... type threads. Certainly a lot less useless threads and what not, guess it depends on what your after

Out in Hamilton Here, Just bought an 06 ss/sc 2 mths ago.... Just registered on OCC as mr.walczak .. If that helps get approved any quicker

That sucks. Guess I have to commute to get to a meet :/...maybe in the spring I'll head to Kennedy Commons. I've never been there before, but I'd like to check it out.

If that's what you want to do lol just to talk cars basically, see other peoples cars, get new ideas or information, help on fixing or installing things. Haven't been to a cobalt meet in a while but the j body meets are good for a laugh.

Chris Dalacher is out of Bradford, and works in Newmarket, one cool guy. OCC has followed the curve, car not made anymore, Distillion started it, worked it, burned out on it I am sure, his gf no more worked really hard as well, and eventually I am sure it gets old. Distillion traded his balt for a truck. so.
Now few are left on OCC , some want to sell their Cobalt modded dreams for a lot of money and no one is buying, and so it goes until it stops.
I am lucky, my Redline is sort of time warped and I will never get tired of it.
But its not a dd. To have a dd, mod it, particularly to high whp levels and stay true to the brand? Chris does all these things. C_D_88/ Props to him. I am sure you can message him and get together, he is a regional director of OCC up that way.

Its mainly a bunch of younger kids in school ricing up their LS's and putting vaccuum gauges in to fake it like a turbo boost gauge. The sense over there is "Like well omg I painted my interior cup holder and now I can' find a matching led. And zomg I have yellow fogs and an ss wing!" with the 4*4 stance.... Sorry, couldn't resist. Sure theres a couple nice cars but the vast majority are little ricers.

I'd say the ricer thing is proportional to here. The same about the younger kids in school, take a look at the threads here about how pissed people are about what the girlfriend did.
