I say post up the videos Mike!!
I was in Winnipeg on August the 6th, and only heard about this after the fact...
I was told the two ran pretty close to each other, and that people in the stands/tower were actually having fun with these two cars constantly running against each other!
How many of their runs did you get on video?
if you could get me the vids, I'd even post them up for the guys!

Just so that you guys (Chris & Graham) have something to aspire to;
this is one of Avro's old Coblat's (he's had both a 2.4/auto, and a 2.4/5spd);
here is his best run evere- believe it or not (iirc) the car was stock with only an intake.

I looked up his videos to see if he posted your run(s) yet... no dice.

thanks very much Mike!!
did you only get the one?
WOW!!
Chris, I am not presuming you realized this, but if you did please let me know ~ both of your reaction times were kinda slow;
you r R/T = 6.59/100 ~ or .659 seconds
Grahams r/t = 9.45/100 ~ .945 seconds
although this does not factor into your elapsed times, this would make your win seem that much more drastic (your time slip would say it, but you could have missed it if you didn't know what you're looking at);
your e/t = 16.60
Grahams e/t = 16.86
since you had a .286 second jump on him off the line, that means even though your time was only .26 seconds faster than him - on that run you would have been .546 seconds ahead of him going through the traps...
for 'heads up' secret street type racing, all that matters is the first person through the traps.
This is how on my very first run at Race City I was able to beat a WRX (talk about an ego boost!) - even though he had a faster e/t!!
I am telling you this, because if you are able to get out of the hole faster than Graham, then you still can beat him even if it's on a technicality of you just trapping before him - like me against that WRX ->

little did I know that I had a rear seal soaking my clutch that night!?! - btw a storm blew in and hte track closed right after that run...
here's my second attempt at running the GA ~ I still had no idea that my clutch was getting "lubed"... but I most definitely did know my clutch was slipping bad...

P.S. please don't whine about my nephew in that video... for me that's half the reason why I like the video - my brother was totally wrong on me pulling an identical time - those were honestly my first & second runs at race city.
I love racing.
I'm bummed that I never had time to get the GA together and bring it out this past summer...
