CASE Relearn with Aeroforce interceptor Guage

Hi Everyone!

Im New to this site but im sure I will be posting lots in the near future! as my car has become my new toy that likes to give me problems lol.

Ok I know theres a couple of other posts on this but none seems to have an answer?

I recently installed the ZZP Stage 2 kits with 2.9 pulley and 45 lb injectors but after changing the pcm to the one from zzp with the tune I have got the P0315 crank variation not learnt code. I bought an Aeroforce interceptor guage as it states it can perform the case relearn but after multiple tries I have no luck?

is there anyone out there that has a simpletons guide of how to do this successfully

Thanks!

I'm fairly certain it cannot. You need a Tech II.

You need a tech 2 or good diagnostic scanner

Tech II or HP Tuners.

I know a bunch of people who have tried this on their trailblazer SS and weren't able to do it even after corresponding with aeroforce

That sucks! it was the main reason for buying the guage lol. it does have to option for case relearn in the guage and the site says it can do it too but it seems that nobody seems to have any success with it.
I spoke to GM to get it cleared but they worry me as one wants to charge $160 and tried to tell me he will need to reprogram the whole pcm ??? but then my tune will be gone and I told him this and hes like well then it may be impossible lol.
I know for a fact its a simple procedure with a tech II scanner tool.

ok 2nd question:

where else could I get this done in Calgary area other than the dealer? any good tuning shops about that would sort it?

Thanks

Find some one with HPT.
Though, I think you need to have the car license to do it so itll still cost you $100.00

Thanks for the help!

I went a hunt today all over the city to find someone that would do it. I tried 5 different gm dealers and tuner works. it wasn't until I spoke to jack carter Chevrolet that they actually knew what I was talking about and got it in for me right there an then for $76.

So if anyone else gets this issue in the area just go to jack carter cuz they actually seem to understand.

Thanks again everyone!!
