Jekyl's Dyno Day *Vids*

So I was just chillin at home on today and then my buddy calls me and said "yo i heard on the radio that diesel performance specialists are having a free dyno day" So 30 seconds later i was out the door on my way lol.....

It was awesome... Free Hotdogs and drinks and a funny car and jetcar were on display and they fired them up, and there were tonnes of really nice diesel trucks....

43 Souped up diesel trucks ran on the dyno.... and I placed 7th out of 43 for highest HP.

Here is a Vid of my truck,

and here is a video of Diesel Performance's Company Truck !!!

Fing awesome man, Im a Diesel nut at heart

Buddy has a 99 1/2' cummins and put out 500hp and 900ft lbs. without any bottles or meth injection. It currently is down needing its third tranny damn automatics

Please tell me yours is a manual?

edit: sorry didnt see mods, at least you built it

Other buddy has a new common rail Cummins, put smarty on it, wasnt suppost to go over level 3 out of 9, of course after a little playing around at level 5 his tranny is making some very uhhhhhh.... strange noises lol

nice lol...

ur buddy with the 99 1/2 does he have a stock turbo still?

Im making good power considering my only power mod is Bully dog crazy larry. I still have stock turbo injectors and intercooler and fuel pump.

I have mixed feelings about the SMarty, i know its good, but i heard some ppl have had fried PCMs and have had to pay $1500 + for a new one.....

No hes got a bigger one but it was a cheapy I cant remember the maker but it pushes around 45 psi.

yah you are pushin some nice numbers, I am a Cummins boy all the way but 2 of my really good friends have those damn LBZ's with intake full exhaust and PPE tuned and damn they are nasty, I think around 475hp and 725 ft.lbs. as of last week if I remember right.

Heres a link to my buddies dyno its Michaels truck http://www.kernfamilysite.com/media/2007DynoDay/

The shop truck was a 1st gen 12 valve cummins motor, they are rated at less than 200 hp from the factory, where as my engine is a 24 valve common rail with no glow plugs and more boost and better technology making 300 rwhp from the factory...

So his company truck seem like it doesnt have much, but it has alot over stock... and it as u can tell, it makes enough power to have fun
