Mission Raceway -Personal Best
Headed out to Mission this past weekend for Mega Ford Weekend. All I can say is wow. That track is amazing. The weather was hot, and there were tonnes of fast cars around all weekend. Track prep was awesome. After each set of qualifying they were out checking the track and adding VHT.
Headed out with a few buddies, and trailered the car. Didnt want to be stuck 1600km from Home with a busted car. Anyways, my car is a basic bolt on Terminator (Ported Eaton, Pulley, Intake, Exhaust). I had a set of skinnies up front and ET Streets on the rear. Managed to get the car down to 3600lbs with me in. Previous weight was 3900lbs.
Here is my best timeslip:
R/T - .463
60' - 1.634
330 - 4.740
1/8 - 7.356
MPH - 94.76
1000 - 9.560
1/4 - 11.462
MPH - 119.93
I need to get a few bugs worked out on my suspension. Going to change the springs, adjustable struts/shocks and coilovers up front. I did manage a best 60 foot of 1.600

Very nice man, but please dont complain about weather hahahha. FL is a nightmare!!! We would be a damn good race. A DAMN good race. It would probably come down to the tree. Two midly bolted on cars that have plenty of respect, nice job sir!
sea level sure won't hurt the car. ya mission is close to sea level, that's where you go if you wanna real good time. the track prep is really good too. one of canada's best drag strips. probally the best in western canada.lol
The only thing that I changed on my car, was taking out a bit of extra weight and running ET Streets on the rear and Draglite skinnies up front.
i know that sea level won't hurt the car
its the fact that running at sea level to here at castrol is a huge differnce, cars will run a 1/2 sec or more
and a lot of people do not know that
they buy these car's and they look a spec on a new car and the times that car and driver posted or other big car magazines or for after market suppliers down in the states and they go to castrol and think they can run that time and they get all mad when they are a sec or more slower.
its cool to know that mission raceway has the set up to go and really find out what ours cars will run.
will have to look at making a trip there next year
or
we should hold our meet there next year?
