Moved To Alberta from BC
Hey folks, just moved to Alberta from BC got the DL Licence changed over, now time for the registration and insurance on my Balt.
So back in BC its one stop shopping for registering and Insurance and I have 43% discount on the insurance. So from what I gather here in Alberta with the Registry's and Private Insurance companies the next step I need to do is (and correct me if I'm wrong please)
1. Vehicle Inspection
2. Take the Inspection to the Insurance company
3. get insured
4. go to Registry and register vehicle and get plates
5. Speed through Red Light Camera's on Green lol
Anyone have experience with this, my biggest concern is getting jacked on Insurance rates here in Calgary.

Welcome to Alberta! yeah you basically have everything down that you need to do, the best peice of advice I can give you is to shop around for your insurance some places will be way cheaper than others.
Right on thanks for the welcomes, I hit up the registry today got the Inspection form and booked an inspection down at the local shop they quoted $149.95 for the inspection is that about par for such a thing here in Calgary? I have no doubt it will pass its 2007 SS 2Dr with some rock chips on the hood and that's about it. I picked them for the location could literally hit it with a puck from the top of my building.

Welcome aboard
Pretty much got if for #'s 1 to 4, #5 is optional but recommended....if you don't then everyone will know you ain't from round these parts
$150 is not too bad. And if your 07 does not pass then you got some serious maintainance issues
