So close to getting into the 13's at Race City...

But still not quite!

Hope the pic is clear, but if it's not, I'm car 777 with a 14.002 @ 101 mph. Once again, the timeslip didn't print and I had to go get the print out from the tower. Probably only a couple more weekends for me to try and get a 13 this year.

Maybe next time!

Stage 1 injectors with HP Tuners, 2.8" pulley, short ram intake and a Magnaflow muffler.
Keep in mind the track I'm at is 3200 ft above sea level.

Great runs. I guess a stripped out interior helps!

FYI--I checked the density altitude 4950ft---very normal for Calgary. Still don't know why my car was running sooo slow. Stock times...grr

I blame the full interior!

Next year, I'm definitely going to hit Mission.

I don't know what kind of gains you'd get when you're all stock. I'd start with at least a pulley and some injectors, then get some tuning done. At least that's my opinion.

Cool man, you notice big gains w/ stage 1?

Also whats the best pulley you can get for running stock?
(and where did you get hp tuners done?)

For running stock, I'd recommend a 3.1" pulley. You might be able to get away with a 3.0" pulley, but you might (and I repeat might) have belt slip. There's apparently been a few cases where some people have had belt slip with a 3.0" pulley. Either way, by changing down to either of these sizes, you'll notice a sigificant gain in torque and you don't need any tuning done to the ECU. If you get an intake as well, you'll really start to hear the supercharger whine!

This may sound a bit silly, but by my butt dyno, I felt more of an increase by going to a 3.1" pulley then I did when I got the Stage 1 installed. I never got a dyno with either setup though, so I'm really not too sure what kind of gains I got.

As far as the HP Tuners goes, a friend of mine has the program. I don't know if there's any local shops around Calgary that have it.
